EMERGING WOMAN FROM SHADOWS OF HISTORY


Bettye Johnson, Pacific Northwest award winning author is holding a unique and different workshop for women who are looking for a different approach to self empowerment. Johnson has combined her years of wisdom gained from her multi-faceted careers and life together with her experience and in depth research of women's issues. Johnson's workshop is to inform participants why the female power has been subjugated to male power and then moving out of the shadow into the 21st century; moving into reweaving the past into the future; creating a personal Life Map and balancing one's unique personal power.

This event, Emerging Woman from Shadows of History, is being held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Olympia Center, 222 Columbia Street NW, Olympia, Washington 98504. Bettye Johnson, a former Federal Women's Program Coordinator for a government district conducted workshops on women's issues. Her background includes working in the embassies of Paris and Tokyo for the U.S. Foreign Service, and program director for a holistic health center, retired ordained minister and an international and award winning author of Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls and Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy. Her latest book is a self-help semi-memoir Awakening the Genie Within.
